REFUND POLICY FOR UPENNSHORTSTAYS.COM

  • Guests get a full refund up to 30 days before check-in

When guests reserve a place, they keep it from other people. And in anticipation of the customer’s needs, we may incur additional costs as we prepare for the unique needs of such customers. As such, there are costs that we will have to share with the booking customer in the event of cancellations. 


Guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in to receive a full refund. If guests cancel when their arrival date is less than 30 days, they will be charged for a month’s stay and be refunded their balance.

  • If guests book within thirty days of arrival, upennshorstays will issue a full refund if they cancel seven days before arrival.
  • If they booked within seven days of their arrival, upennshortstays would issue a full refund if they cancel two days before arrival.
  • Processing Fees will not be refunded in the event of issuing refunds due to cancellations
  • If guests cancel mid-trip 
    If guests cancel midtrip, they will be charged for an entire month starting from the day of their arrival. A refund of the balance will be issued.
  • Extenuating Circumstances

If for some extreme reason, we cannot deliver, guests will receive a full refund of their prorated balance, and the above 30-day exception will not apply. As we own other buildings, we will endeavor to offer alternative accommodations with guests’ cooperation. If there is a problem that makes a unit inhabitable for a few days, we will move the client to an open unit while we

address the problem.

  • Previous Clients

Our accommodation is designed for month-long stays or more. The only exceptions are clients who are returning customers through our Airbnb portal. Those clients should email our customer service desk, and we will try to accommodate them.
